Policy for glaux-yonah.org

The following policy applies to all subdomains of glaux-yonah.org which do not have their own specific privacy policy.

This site collects and stores your IP address for the following purposes:

Serving content:

return requested pages to your browser.

Server security:

prevent misuse and attacks.

In particular, this site's firewall stores and blocks IP addresses which make unusually high numbers of connections, and the server's logs store IP addresses together with received requests for the purpose of protecting against malicious activity.

This site does not knowingly collect any other personally identifiable data.

Policy for access to secured areas of the site (including SSH)

The following applies to all authenticated areas of this site. (If you are never prompted for a password, you can probably ignore this section.)

The secured areas of this site -- in particular, those which require authentication for access, including this site's SSH server -- are not public. If you have not been invited to access such areas by the site administrator, you should not attempt to do so.

All authentication attempts will be logged, and any attempt to login will constitute your explicit permission for the site to capture, record, and process your IP address and other interactions for the purpose of server security, and other reasons, not limited to those listed above. All usage of the secured areas of this site (including the SSH server) will be monitored, and behaviour which (in the sole judgment of the site administrator) could indicate malicious intent may result in a temporary or permanent block on your access.

General

All site data, including server logs, are held on netcup servers located in Germany. They may be accessed remotely by the site administrator from other countries, including countries outside of the European Union.
