I have added an explanation of integrating along a curve parameterised as a complex-valued function to a previous set of lecture notes, see here, at the bottom of page 3 and the top of page 4. This might be useful for the current homework assignment. (For those of you in 0101, the notes from last week's 5101 might also be useful.)

Also, a clarification that for problem 1 you need to explicitly choose a path from 0 to z, parameterise it, and compute the integral in terms of one-dimensional integrals as we discussed in class. In particular you are not allowed to do it by finding a complex antiderivative of f!

I will not be making a formal review sheet for the term test, since I feel that that is not appropriate for an open-book test. I will however produce a set of practice problems at some point in the near future, together with a broad indication of the topics covered (though that will amount to essentially everything!).

Finally, I have corrected a typographical infelicity in the solutions to last week's assignment.
