First, a reminder that we will be voting on changing the marking scheme in class on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unless I think of a good reason to do something different, the weekly quizzes will be replaced by weekly homework assignments, and the provision that performance on the term test and final test can replace previous work will be dropped. (This has proved too hard to implement. I may think of a satisfactory replacement, since I do like the idea of rewarding improvement.)

There will be no quiz on Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be no quizzes on Thursday or Friday unless the above change is not approved.

Practice problems on this week's material, as well as notes, will come on Monday. If the change in marking scheme is approved the practice problems will become next week's homework, due sometime the Monday after (June 1). I apologise for not producing them earlier. In the meantime I recommend reviewing sections 8, 11 -- 13, and 19 of Goursat. For this coming week, I would recommend reviewing sections 22 and 24, and then starting on Chapter II.

Crowdmark automatically cuts all scores to zero for solutions which were submitted late. For those of you who have written me about late submissions, I will be back in touch with you on Monday.
