Two quick things (there will be more coming later):

-- I have updated the typescript of the textbook; the most current version (which covers through the end of part II in chapter I and also includes all of the exercises for chapter I, and finally -- and most importantly! -- includes the GRAPHS!!) is available here (exactly where the older versions were available, when they were the new version; interesting how that works). In particular, this week we covered much of the material in sections 1 and 3 -- 6 (though not everything).

-- I believe I have sent the link to Thursday's lecture to everyone who has contacted me with a valid reason for not being able to attend (or explained at what definite point in the future I would send it). If you believe you should have received the link, and haven't, please check your Inbox on Quercus (that is my preferred way of sending it); if it isn't there, please wait for a bit, look again, and then write me an e-mail to let me know that something apparently didn't work.

I will send out more information about the quizzes shortly. In the meantime please let me know if you have any further questions!
