Some notes pertaining to today's lecture are now available here. They cover rather more ground than we got through today; some of this I will mention in lecture, and the rest (principally basic information about what complex numbers are) I will leave to you to read as I hope it is fairly straightforward.

Office hours will be this (Wednesday) morning at 10.00, then Thursday at 3PM and Friday at 5PM. (Feel free to contact me if you would like to schedule a time outside of the scheduled office hours!)
