I suspect that today's lecture was not very clear, and I apologise for that. I have written up an explanation of the second fundamental theorem of calculus and its relation to the first fundamental theorem of calculus, as well as solutions to some of the TopHat problems from today, here. (It is also linked to from the course Quercus page.) I hope this can clarify some of the questions that might have come up about today's material.
