All,

I have posted lecture notes for this week here. The result about solutions to Laplace's equation which we went over at the very end of class went into the lecture notes from a couple weeks ago which covered Green's functions.

Neither of the appendices to the most recent set of lecture notes are examinable, though some of the discussion in the first appendix might be useful to anyone curious about where the definition of convolution comes from (basically: one way of looking at it is to say that we define convolution as we do so that the inverse Fourier transform of a product will be a convolution).

Please let me know if you notice anything I have left out.

I will post practice problems sometime soon; I will try to get the practice problems for this week's material up by tomorrow, but the full set of practice problems (as well as the review sheet) for the final will probably not be up until the first part of next week. I will also post more detailed information about office hours tomorrow or early next week. As always, if anyone would like to talk feel free to send me an e-mail to schedule a time.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Nathan
