The solutions to Homework 4 are now available here. Please let me know if you find any typographical or mathematical errors. Please check your solutions against these as I may not be able to finish reading through all of your solutions until late.

A few of you indicated having some trouble finding the submission link on Quercus, but most of you seem to have found it later on in the evening -- I apologise for any inconvenience and am trying to figure out what went wrong. In the future, if you cannot find the submission link, feel free to e-mail me your solution instead (before the deadline, of course!).

Homework 5 will be posted sometime this evening. I also intend to write solutions to the practice problems by sometime this evening or early tomorrow morning and will put out another announcement at that point.

Tomorrow we will continue talking about Legendre and associated Legendre functions (which are discussed in section 4.2 up through 4.2.5 of the textbook). I intend to write up some supplementary information by sometime this evening or early tomorrow morning as well.
